This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 140

I really enjoyed the recent Smashing Magazine post that compares Adobe Experience Manager and WordPress from a publishing experience perspective. It is very detailed and points out some areas where WordPress could improve like a more detailed permissions system. I think those with their head down in WordPress world should take a look at what’s happening with other tools from time to time.

Over on Kinsta’s blog, there is an article that talks about changing the WordPress administration panel design. Some of it is pretty interesting and can give some pretty unique feeling experiences, but they start with it being a company branding exercise, and I can’t imagine too many people would want their web hosts brand all over their CMS.

Lastly, BobWP has an article that walks you through how to build an online store using the Ninja shop plugin. Like with most plugins that provide a ton of features, it looks like Ninja shop has a sizeable learning curve, so your mileage may vary. I don’t see anywhere that it does something better than WooCommerce, so I personally won’t take the time to learn it unless a client signs up to PressTitan and uses it. If you are interested in Ninja Shop, and you enjoyed Bob’s post, then make sure you buy through the affiliate links in his article.

That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
