This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 142
WordPress.org released their month in review post where they talk about the changes to WordPress leadership, WordPress 5.1’s development status as well as some other highlights. TorqueMag is running its yearly Plugin Madness bracket competition where they try to find the best plugins out there. The 2018 winner was Smush from WPMU. It also won the 2017 challenge they had. Will Smush win again in 2019? You have until March 1st to submit your favourite plugins.
ManageWP is owned by Godaddy and I’ve been wondering how long it would be until they integrated it into their product offerings, and we now have the answer with Godaddy’s Pro sites a rebranded ManageWP. What will that mean for ManageWP going forward? We will have to wait and see.
That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
