This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 47
If you run a WordPress website with more than one user, or you are concerned about security, WP WhiteSecurity has a post that goes over 5 activity log plugins for WordPress. These plugins will keep you informed of actions happening on your site so you can find out if someone is using your account or who trashed that article.
Speaking of security, WP Newsify has a post that talks about why WordPress gets hacked and some simple things you can do to reduce your risk. It isn’t a very in-depth article, but if you haven’t thought about WordPress security, this article might start you on the right path.
And of course, no episode would be complete without mentioning Gutenberg, right? Well, Jason Cohen of StudioPress has posted what they will be doing with Genesis, one of the more popular WordPress theme frameworks, when Gutenberg comes out. They talk about supporting the new publishing interface and try to assuage any concerns their users might have.
That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
