This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 48

Over on WPBeginner, there is an article that is entitled 30 “Expert Tips” that I wish I knew before Starting a blog. The author goes into some pretty common sense things, so I don’t know how “expert” this is, but if you are struggling to get set up with WordPress and want to do it right, this post might help direct you.

Torque Mag has a great article on why two-factor authentication doesn’t always guarantee protection. For those of you that don’t know what two-factor authentication is, it is basically when a site asks for more than just your password. It will ask for some special code as well, making the whole thing more secure.

The article is a bit more on the technical side, but if you find security important, it is worth a read.

Lastly, we have Gutenberg cloud on WPTavern. The Drupal Gutenberg team are working on a block management system that allows developers to create blocks that would work both on WordPress and Drupal. This initiative is super interesting to me, but I have to wonder, how many libraries of blocks will we need?

That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
