This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 61
There is just one thing I want to talk about today.
Over on GravityWiz, there is a comprehensive tutorial on how to do eCommerce with Gravity Forms. If you need to collect information from visitors on your WordPress site and aren’t using Gravity Forms, then I’m sad for you. While I did work for rocketgenius at one point, I’ve always been a fan, and the secondary market of support, extensions and tutorials is massive.
The Gravity Forms eCommerce tutorial walks you through everything you need to know from the standpoint of a beginner and goes all the way to a high-level intermediate skill level with integrating add-ons like CRMs, Accounting and Zapier.
For those of you that have never heard of GravityWiz, it is a project by one of rocketgenius’ employees David Smith and his brother, Jordan. The site not only provides tutorials for Gravity Forms but even adds small snippets and add-ons that make Gravity Forms even more powerful.
I have been fortunate enough to use David’s brain a few times to solve complex needs with Gravity Forms and can highly recommend GravityWiz. No affiliate codes here and this is not a sponsored episode.
Sure, there are other plugins for data collection in WordPress and Gravity Forms costs money, and GravityWiz snippets cost money, but if you are running a business, these expenses are worth it for the additional features and flexibility they provide over free options.
I will say that many of the other paid data collection plugins are also worth investigating as your needs may vary and one of the others might fit better, so don’t discount the other options just because I have a preference.
That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
