Elementor and Divi both have updates that allow dynamic content from custom fields in WordPress. This allows you to use Advanced Custom Fields data in the front end of your site in a really easy to use way. I’m super impressed with this update from the two competitors and think it is pretty interesting that they came out around the same time.

If you have struggled to make custom post types work on your WordPress site and you are already using Divi, that’s great news for you. If you aren’t using Divi, I might recommend you look at Elementor’s offering as it will work with a ton of different themes and doesn’t suffer from what I call shortcode-itus when you disable it.

TranslatePress has an update that talks about translating text in Gutenberg blocks and shows how you can do that using their premium plugin. It seems pretty straightforward to use and provides a reasonable effect. I would have loved for them to translate their own post so I could see the front-end usability, but that wasn’t really the focus of their article.

Living in Canada, many sites for businesses here either have to be in both languages, or choose to be, and with Gutenberg steaming ahead, this TranslatePress update will hopefully make content creators happy.

That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
