This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 72
I find installing WordPress to be a fairly simple thing, but I’m always interested in the WordPress deployment solutions others have come up with. Over on the Delicious Brains blog, there is a post called WordPress Deployment Part 4: Automated Deployments, where they look at different tools to deploy WordPress such as Buddy and DeployBot.
If you develop with WordPress, you might want to check out this entire series.
The second story I have for you today is a guest post on WPTavern by Chris Van Patten. He wrote an article on his experience first contributing to Gutenberg. It is a great article on how everyone can give back to WordPress.
Lastly, over on CSS-Tricks, there is a post that talks about how to style the Gutenberg Columns block. Styling the output from Gutenberg is probably going to be heavily talked about over the next several months as people realize that their themes don’t support even the default block type outputs. I really appreciate the detail that this CSS-Tricks article has and if you develop WordPress themes, or you are planning to use Gutenberg in the early days of its release, you might want to check it out.
That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
