This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 76
WPTavern has a first look at the Twenty Nineteen default theme and I think it looks great. It is built to support Gutenberg and has back-end editor styles so the content you create will likely look very similar between the back-end and front-end.
When available on WordPress.com, I’ll probably be giving it a try on my personal blog. Some people won’t like its no-sidebar design, and I know I’ll struggle with its photo forward header design since I don’t use many images on my personal blog, but it’s close integration with Gutenberg and its content focused design make me pretty happy.
On WPBeginner, they have an article that walks you through how to easily translate your WordPress site with TranslatePress. I am a big fan of sites in multiple languages, despite the fact that I can’t really do much more than a reasonable approximation of English. But living in the Canadian melting pot, I feel like making it easy to build sites that support multiple languages is important.
That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
