This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 77

I have some interesting Gravity Forms news today! They have launched community features! What does that mean? Well, over on their site, they now have a third party add-on directory for Gravity Forms that will make it easier to find add-ons than the normal WordPress plugin directory and they also brought back Forums!

I remember doing support using the forum before they added a helpdesk set up and it was difficult but also helped so many people with questions and concerns, so it is nice to see that they have brought back this powerful tool for collaboration and communication. Sometimes a quick code snippet isn’t deserving of a whole blog post and can be buried in the documentation, but the community forum will bring it to light. I can’t wait to see how both pieces grow and evolve.

The next story is about something that has been important for a long time, but I think many of us have been slow to change on: prioritizing your mobile site. With many of the sites I manage having almost half of their traffic coming from mobile devices, it is important to make time for your mobile site. Torque mag provides some details on why this is important and what you should do to make it a better user experience.

My last story today is a quick nod to WPTavern’s article that highlights the fact that the Gutenberg Accessibility audit that so many people have been requesting is on hold as Automattic has decided to forgo conducting the audit before the release of WordPress 5.0. I am sure that will be disheartening to more than a few people.

That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
