This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 83
How are page builders going to work with Gutenberg? We might have a bit of a look at that with a plugin set to make Elementor templates become Gutenberg blocks. WPTavern has all the details. I look forward to seeing how other page builders work with Gutenberg as we get closer to its release.
Did someone create your username to be your email address or something else that isn’t easy to remember? Typically, you can’t easily change your username in WordPress, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a way. Over on WPLift, they go through how you can change your username in different methods. As I’ve said before, please be careful when doing anything directly in the database.
Lastly, and I’m sure it is barely worth mentioning, but WordPress 5.0 Beta 1 has been released. How excited are you about the upcoming release of WordPress 5.0? Let me know in the comments! It comes with an early version of Twenty Nineteen, and of course the latest version of Gutenberg. I don’t recommend using Beta versions for your real sites, but if you enjoy testing what is coming next, or have a personal blog that you love to keep on the bleeding edge, go nuts!
That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
