This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 86

What is the best translation plugin for WordPress? That’s a question a recent post on CozmosLabs looks to answer. The post goes through five or so options in detail and then provides their thoughts on the best ones to choose based on different needs. Of course, they really couldn’t look at all the options available, so you might know of plugins they didn’t review, but I think it is a great start for someone worried about choosing a powerful translation plugin.

WPEngine continues its acquisitions in picking up Array Themes. I suggest checking out the post on the Array website as well as the short interview on WPTavern to learn more. It is interesting to see the continued consolidation of WordPress brands. I don’t know that I ever purchased any themes from Array, but if I had, I might be a little concerned about the future support and development of the products though if you have a lifetime license, they do seem to be willing to provide a Genesis license instead, so you aren’t completely out of luck.

Lastly, over on WPTavern, they talk about the new WooCommerce update to version 3.5. It is said that it can improve page load times by as much as thirty percent.

That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
