This is Malcolm Peralty here from PressTitan and this is The WP Minute, Episode 90

WordPress.com is now tracking everything you do. WPTavern has the details on the new activity tracker that was added to WordPress.com and on other WordPress sites through Jetpack. I’ve long since wanted WordPress to include an audit log, and there are many ways to get one, but I don’t think Jetpack is the place for one, but that’s just my opinion. Are you a fan of activity logs in WordPress?

Over on WP Newsify, there is a post that discusses the ways that WordPress has been able to increase its security since its early days. It is nice to see someone highlight the progress WordPress has made, but as I’m sure you are all aware, it will always need work.

Lastly, Delicious Brains has part twelve of its Hosting WordPress series where it covers how to move WordPress to a new server. The author highlights their use of this when needing to run a new operating system which I think is a really interesting way to do operating system upgrades. Check out the series and let me know what you think.

That’s it for today’s WP Minute, thank you all for watching.
