The PressTitan Stack

Our Technology Stack

Running a web hosting business requires a robust, secure, and high-performance technology stack. I’ve carefully selected each component to ensure speed, reliability, security, and ease of management. Here’s a deep dive into the tools and services I use to deliver top-tier hosting solutions.

Upstream Providers

The backbone of any hosting operation is its infrastructure. I rely on two providers to meet different hosting needs:

  • DigitalOcean – A trusted cloud provider with scalable droplets, managed databases, and robust networking solutions. Ideal for developers and businesses needing flexibility and cost-effective cloud computing.
  • Vultr – A high-performance cloud hosting provider offering scalable compute instances, bare metal servers, and Kubernetes solutions. With 32+ global data centers, SSD storage, and an intuitive control panel, Vultr delivers fast, reliable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure for developers, startups, and enterprises.
  • Rocket.net (Limited Seats) – A premium managed WordPress hosting provider with an enterprise-grade edge network, providing unmatched speed and security. I reserve this for select clients needing ultra-high performance and security or problem children who need another layer of support.

Both providers offer a mix of reliability and performance, enabling me to deliver solutions tailored to my clients’ specific needs.

Domain Management

We use Dynadot as our trusted backend domain registrar to manage and register domains for our clients under a white-label setup. This allows us to offer secure, fast, and private domain services without exposing Dynadot’s branding.

Through their robust API and management tools, we’re able to automate registrations, configure DNS, and maintain full control over our domain portfolio—all while delivering a seamless, branded experience to our customers.

Security & Deployments

Managing and securing WordPress servers at scale can be complex. That’s where FlyWP comes in.

  • Automated Server Management – FlyWP handles server provisioning, updates, and optimizations, ensuring smooth deployments.
  • Security-Focused – Built-in firewall rules, malware scanning, and security hardening to protect sites against threats.
  • Performance Optimized – Configured for fast-loading sites with Redis, Nginx, and advanced caching techniques.

FlyWP simplifies the management of high-performance WordPress hosting while adding layers of security and automation.

DNS

A robust DNS setup is crucial for security, speed, and uptime. I use a combination of:

  • Cloudflare DNS – Provides ultra-fast DNS resolution, DDoS protection, and smart routing through its global network.

To further optimize network performance, I use Cloudflare Argo for:

  • Intelligent Traffic Routing – Routes traffic through the fastest and most reliable network paths.
  • Latency Reduction – Reduces load times by dynamically avoiding congestion points.
  • Automatic Failover – Ensures uptime by rerouting traffic in case of network failures.

This significantly improves site speed and reliability, especially for global users.

Malware, Monitoring & Security

Website backups and security monitoring are non-negotiable in web hosting. I rely on FlyWP, Backblaze and Defender Pro for:

  • Backups (On site, off site, and monthly offnet backup)
  • Plugin Updates (Weekly)
  • Uptime Monitoring (Real time)
  • Client Reporting (Monthly)
  • Malware Scanning & Removal (Daily)

Final Thoughts

By combining these technologies, I’ve built a web hosting stack that prioritizes speed, security, and ease of management. Each tool serves a specific function, and together, they create a seamless hosting experience for my clients.
